Squat well, friends.

The V-Hooks™ (Sold in pairs) are an excellent accessory for improving positioning during front squats, as well as compensating for limited wrist mobility. Simply by attaching the V-Hooks to any standard barbell, an athlete is able to maintain a neutral wrist while holding the barbell in a solid front rack position.

    The best front squat tool…

that I’ve used. If you have mobility or structural issues that make front squat bar positioning problematic then this may be the tool for you. There are other more expensive options on the market but they’re either comfortable and alter the movement pattern and leverages or raise the bar higher and are less comfortable on your shoulders and throat.
If you’re considering this product you’ve probably looked at the different front squat variations and I’ve experimented with all of them. The verse lifts allow you to control the bar position in all planes and the grooves on the hooks allow your shoulders to feel nothing but the bar. I saw one reviewer complain about the versalifts sliding on the bar and that may be the case if you’re using a thin bar without knurling. On my Texas Bar with 28.5 mm diameter the versalifts are very tight and on the knurling and it is impossible for me to move them horizontally while in the rack position. Seriously as pleased with a piece of training equipment as I’ve ever been and it’s just a couple of pieces of plastic - but it does exactly what it’s supposed to and does it extremely well.

Excellent design, allows for heavy front squats for those of us with limited range of motion / wrirsr flexion to rack with our hands. This device saved my front squat.

    Good but could be better

They definitely help you hold the weight but their slick surface allows them to slide horizontally out of position. They should have a gripper surface inside the hooks. I put some small flat stick-on silicone discs in mine (like for cabinet doors) to help the hooks grip the bar. Now they are 5 stars.

    Great addition

These lifts are perfect for anyone who doesn’t prefer having their wrists bend back for various reasons. I find them to add comfort and stability to my front squats and helps me focus more power to the squat by allowing me to not worry about wrist strain.

The VersaLifts V-Hooks work as advertised, I am 65 years old and was able to perform front squats without any pain in my wrists.
